Biography
David F. Kong, M.D., A.M., D.M.T., F.A.C.C., F.S.C.A.I. is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Duke University Medical Center and Co-Director of the Cardiovascular Late Phase 3 and Devices Unit at the Duke Clinical Research Institute. An interventional cardiologist at Duke Hospital and a faculty member in the Duke Center for Healthcare Informatics, Dr. Kong specializes in cardiovascular informatics research and integration of evidence from cardiovascular clinical trials. Dr. Kong graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University, where he also received a master’s degree in Organismic and Evolutionary Biology. He received his medical degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and was a resident on the Osler Medical Service at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. He completed fellowships in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiovascular Medicine at Duke University before joining the Duke faculty. Dr. Kong is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology, and interventional cardiology. He is a Certified Diver Medic, Master Diver, and Dive Medical Examiner, and has been elected Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions.

Interoperable clinical research by streamlining site operations, harmonizing cardiovascular data standards, and improving the interactions between clinical research subjects, clinician investigators, expert guidelines committees, and policymakers.

Dr. Ellahham is a Board-certified internist, cardiologist and vascular medicine senior consultant and continues to care for patients. He received his undergraduate degree in biology and his M.D. from the American University of Beirut. He did his fellowship in Cardiology at the Medical College of Virginia (MCV) in USA. After completing his fellowship, Dr. Ellahham worked in Washington DC in several clinical and leadership positions before moving to UAE in 1988. He led the First AHA GWTG Heart Failure Initiative outside US and was the recipient of the AHA GWTG Award in Wash. DC. His clinical passion and expertise is in the field of heart failure management. He demonstrated great skill and experience in the management of patients with heart failure and led a multi-disciplinary team in the care and delivery of advanced therapies to these patients. He has unique abilities to partner and engage local and regional referring providers. He is able to work in a highly matrixed environment, possess strong leadership and organizational skills and have experience to working effectively in a large health system. He is currently a Cleveland Clinic Staff and the member of Executive Team of The Cleveland Clinic Foundation, in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The Dr. Gregorietti is currently President of the Cardiology Society of Buenos Aires, Deputy Chief of Cardiac Transplant, and coordinates the area of Pulmonary Hypertension at El Cruce Hospital and Sagrado Corazon Sanatorium. She works in the area of Heart Failure and Pulmonary Hypertension at the Argentine Institute of Diagnosis and Treatment. She received her medical degree in the Faculty of Medicine of the Favaloro University of Buenos Aires. Then, she specialized in Cardiology in the Cardiology and Cardiovascular Surgery Service of Fundacion Favaloro. The doctor completed her training in advanced cardiorespiratory failure and intrathoracic transplantation in Transplant Services Favaloro Foundation, Stanford University - California - USA and De La Pitie Hospital in Paris France, Hospital 12 de Octubre, Madrid Spain. She has also acted in various Institutions and Hospitals including the Italian Hospital of Mendoza, Trinidad Mitre Sanatorium. She is a member of the editorial board of the Journal Insuficiencia Cardíaca dedicated to the publication of relevant topics related to heart failure, pulmonary hypertension, intrathoracic transplantation and cardiometabolism. Dr. Gregorietti has participated and participates in numerous national and international scientific societies among which are: member of the Council of Heart Failure of the Argentine Society of Cardiology, member of the committee of heart failure and pulmonary hypertension of the Argentine Federation of Cardiology, Society Argentina de Transplante (in which she serves as a member of the cardiac transplant advisory committee; Sociedad de Cardiología de Buenos Aires (of which he is president); International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation(member), Society of Cardioncology of the Republic of Argentina (vice president)
